Creative Nursery Room Ideas

baby-nursery-designs-00.jpgThere's nothing more exciting than a new baby! There's nothing more challenging than creating a beautiful nursery room for your new baby.
With so many ideas, so many products, and so many options, it is no wonder a new mom feels so stressed. So, instead of stressing, take some time out to reflect on what your nursery room would look like to make YOU happy.

Don't be pressured to make it look "trendy", just simply make it yours!
Although all new moms want to select a style or design that would please the new baby, in reality the new baby will arrive to a nursery room you have selected for him or her. Yes, do make it pleasing for your baby, but making very pleasing for YOU too! You'll be spending lots of time in that nursery room.
Here are a few design ideas....

Kids Rooms For Your Viewing Pleasure

In an attempt to make our kid's room unique and appealing, we (parents) venture deep into the internet looking for ideas and probably deeper into our pockets.

You may find a few designs that really blow you away, but you just can't afford to blow away your budget. Is that how you feel?

Don't give up on your quest for a unique and appealing room! Take your time, research products, find alternate products, look for less expensive versions of the same designs you love. If you are gifted with creativity and "do it yourself" powers, then seeing is achieving.

For the "do it your-selfers" these images will be your inspiration and your starting point for your project.
take your time and be patient with your project, don't settle for something you know you will not be happy with. If you want a specific blue for your pillow, take your time, wait for the right shade to appear. It is better to wait and spend your money on what you truly love rather than settle for something just to be "done with it".

Here are a few ideas to inspire you.

These two beds connect with this clever "monkey bar" that can be made and added on to the duplicate beds. This is a fun an creative feature that should not blow your budget.

If there's a carpenter in the family, hopefully you or your hubby, then this elaborate project may not be as "over the top" as it looks.

These projects require carpentry talents

The paint on the walls of this room make all the difference. The nautical stripes used in the closet will add a sea-faring look to any wall in the room

The use of color in this room creates a fun, bright, and cheerful environment for your child

A touch of blue color on the wall, a painted rabbit, and a giant teacup transforms this hallway into a "Alice in Wonderland" passageway

Wooden ladder, book case overhead, and a beautiful painting makes this room personalized and inviting

Use a pirate mural to create a pirate room theme. This mural was painted on and rather expensive. Find your pirate murals on www.muralsforkids.com. The bed used in this room is a singular expensive piece
of furniture, but you can always tint your light colored bed a dark shade of "pirate ship" brown

The under-bed shelves, pops of color, communicating portholes, and bright white make this bedroom appealing and fun
